An 18-year-old Arkadelphia man died in a one-vehicle accident on Christmas Eve, according to a preliminary fatal crash report filed by Arkansas State Police.

An 18-year-old Arkadelphia man died in a one-vehicle accident on Christmas Eve, according to a preliminary fatal crash report filed by Arkansas State Police.
The report indicates that Nicholas B. Perry Jr., 18, of 2392 Highway 7 South, was driving a 2003 Ford east on Interstate 30 at the 86 mile-marker, in Hot Spring County, when he lost control of the vehicle, left the south side of the highway, overturned and struck a tree.
The accident happened at 4:37 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 24.
An obituary published today in the Siftings says Perry was a 2010 graduate of Arkadelphia High School.
