A resident of the 300 block of Mill Creek Loop reported a trespasser in her yard, and he ran as soon as he saw her. Deputy Garry Johns got a description of the trespasser, and located a man in the area who matched the description. The man fled on foot toward Manchester Road. Johns chased him on foot and noticed what appeared to be a small pistol in the man’s hand. Johns noted that the suspect was swinging the gun around as he was fleeing. He dropped the object he was carrying as he approached a fence, but quickly picked it up and ran toward a clear cut. Johns continued to chase him, but eventually lost sight of him. He called for assistance, and investigators began a search but the man was never identified or located.
