According to a report on file with the Arkansas State Police, Jacob Gutzler, 20, of 98 Francis Road, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he lost control in a curve near 7148 Highway 7 South and struck a utility pole.

The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting Gutzler and his two passengers, Jared Johns, 22, of 306 Forrest Park Drive, and Carl Nisbet, 21, of 116 Evonshire Drive.
After being ejected, Gutzler was reportedly struck by another vehicle, which was also headed south. The driver of that vehicle was not injured.
